Police still releasing no details of west side suspicious death

Green Bay police continue to be mum on details about what they are calling the suspicious death of a 49-year-old west side man.

A lone squad car remained posted as guard at 239 N. Ashland Avenue on Sunday, a day after police encircled the property with yellow caution tape and announced an investigation was under way.

Brown County Medical Examiner Al Klimek said Sunday that the dead man's body had been transported to Fond du Lac County for autopsy because of the unavailability of a forensic pathologist closer to home. Klimek said he had no other information to release. ...
