Nadia Dervish is an incredibly driven student at Bay City Baptist School with varied interests while maintaining a 3.90 grade point average. Nadia has been a member of the German, Russian, and Book Clubs as well as the Writer’s Union. In 2012 she was inducted into the National English Honors Society. Nadia excels in athletics, playing soccer on the high school and Midwest Regional level, running cross country, and playing volleyball. She was elected class president in her sophomore and junior years. She was nominated as Miss Titletown’s Outstanding Teen for 2011-2012, presenting research on female sports injuries. Her caring spirit is evident in the hours she volunteered for the Center for Cerebral Palsy aquatic program. She is active in church ministry by participating in music and traveling last summer to the Philippines on a missions trip.
