Robot built by Manitowoc County students competes at world event

A robotics competition might not seem like a logical choice for a student who's interested in an English- or film-related career, but Mishicot High School junior Nick Ruzek had a great time and plans to participate again next year.

"I loved every second of it," Ruzek said. "Even though I'm probably still not going to go into an engineering field, I feel like I'm prepared to handle any team situation, any kind of a crazy challenge that I have, and just problem solving and working around difficulties that I might encounter in any job or college."
