Changes made to this year's Cellcom Green Bay Marathon should be barely noticeable to outside observers.
But make no mistake about it: race officials said they have learned from the experience of 2012, when heat and humidity sent 18 runners to emergency rooms, saw dozens more require on-site medical attention and eventually forced officials to cancel the race while many runners remained on the course.
