When the 57 players taking part in the Green Bay Packers' rookie orientation strolled into town last Thursday, coach Mike McCarthy was awaiting them with a message.

Over the course of the team's four consecutive playoff appearances, many have lauded the Packers' ability to build through the draft with budding stars like Clay Matthews, Randall Cobb and Casey Hayward.
