Academic honors:

High Honors, freshmen to senior year.

Volunteer work:

Hearts for Haiti Volunteer at public library; various NHS activities; various student council activities; care walks and food drives.

College plans:

UW-La Crosse to major in physical therapy. I wish to help athletes like me get back to the sports they love and allow people to maintain their mobility.

Favorite sports memory:

The whole three years of my cross country career is my favorite memory. I was never much of a distance runner, but by laughing and having a good time each day at practice, not only was I having fun, I was developing into a better runner.

Advice to an athlete:

WORK HARD. Simple as that. The summer and any other off-season time you have should be spent getting better at the sport you love the most.

My inspiration:

My coach was the most influential person during my high school sports career. He helped me push harder and get better, even though I was not a great runner. By getting the motivation to work hard outside of the season, I continued to improve even more.
