Favorite sports memory:
After having ACL surgery last year I wasn't even sure I would be able to be a part of the gymnastics team my senior year. So when I placed fifth at state it was a dream come true. To me, it was so much more than a medal it was a symbol of all the hard work and dedication I put into my rehab in order to return to the sport that I truly love. That moment, realizing all the hard work has paid off is my favorite high school sports memory.
Advice to an athlete:
Find your passion and give it 110 percent, and you will not be disappointed in yourself. Don't obsess over scores, places, or recognition, just love what you are doing. Do the sport for yourself and no one else.
My inspiration came from my family, they were always there to support me especially when I had a rough practice. They would push me to be my best and never give up. My family has helped me in so many ways I would not have accomplished half of my achievements without them.
