Hooters will close its Grand Chute branch in two weeks after 10 years in business.

The restaurant’s Facebook page announced the news late this morning and thanked its customers and employees.

Store manager Mike Neumann confirmed that the restaurant’s last day will be May 28. It is at 1271 N. Casaloma Drive.

“We don’t have the sales,” he said about the reason for closure.

Hooters was in the category of restaurants known in the industry as a “breastaurant” because of its emphasis on the scantily clad wait staff.
