Now the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children is asking for public help to locate Robert “Bobby Joe” Fritz.
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children released an image portraying what Fritz may look like as an adult. 30 years after his disappearance.

Fond du Lac County Sheriff Mick Fink said he became a detective a few years after Fritz disappeared. He said he was puzzled by the case from the beginning.
“Cases like these are head-knockers,” Fink said. “Every few years we get calls that (Fritz) was spotted, and we follow all possible leads, but so far nothing has turned up.”
Anyone with information about the disappearance or whereabouts of Fritz is asked to call 1-800-843-5678. Calls are confidential and may be made anonymously.
