Men's basketball: Milwaukee Destiny guard DeBerry commits to UWGB

One of the most prolific scorers in the state last season has committed to the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay men's basketball team.

Guard Jerrelle DeBerry, a 6-foot-4 junior from Milwaukee Destiny High School who was seventh in the state in scoring last season at 25.3 points per game, accepted an offer from the Phoenix late Tuesday night, according to Wisconsin Basketball Yearbook editor Mark Miller.

DeBerry recently picked up an offer from Oregon State and previously had one from UW-Milwaukee. ...
