ALGOMA - The Kewaunee boys track and field team won its first Packerland Conference title since 1996, while the Algoma girls won their third straight conference title on Monday.

Kewaunee won five events, including the 400-, 1,600- and 3,200-meter relays, and totaled 18 top-three finishes to top Southern Door 187.5-145. Senior Jon Pilgrim won the 110 hurdles and the 300 hurdles.

The Algoma girls had nine top-three finishes and won six events to edge Kewaunee 144-143. Kennedy Blahnik (shot put, discus) and Whitney Ebert (1,600; 3,200) both won titles in two events for the Wolves, while ...
