RDA mum, but moves ahead on projects

The city Redevelopment Authority met in closed session three times Tuesday, instructed staff to pursue actions after each and talked about none of it, citing delicate negotiations.

Items under discussion included development of the former Schauer & Schumacher building at East Walnut and Adams streets, redevelopment of North Webster Avenue, and the Coaches Corner property on Adams and Main streets.

The former Schauer & Schumacher furniture store at the northwest corner of East Walnut and Adams streets has been vacant since 2001. ...
