Pet owners reminded of Oshkosh ordinances

Warm weather is finally here and with spring right around the corner, the Oshkosh Police Department would like to take some time to remind the citizens of Oshkosh of the local ordinances regarding responsible pet ownership.

All dogs and cats residing within the city must have rabies vaccinations and city licenses after reaching five months of age. City licenses can be obtained from city hall with proof of rabies vaccinations. A pet owner could receive a fine of $295 for not having a pet vaccinated and a fine of $232 for not having a city license.
