The Wisconsin State 4-H program sent 250 youths to Huntsville, Ala., to attend NASA Space Camp from April 17to 22. Space Camp is held at the US Space and Rocket Center. Space Camp is a program that encourages trainees to pursue more science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) related areas of study through exciting hands-on educational activities.

At camp this year participants learned about NASA and aerospace history, engineering, science, and logistical operations. While at camp, trainees participated in astronaut simulators, rocket construction and launch, and completed a ...
