Alex Green had his mind made up well before training camp.

If his surgically reconstructed left knee felt strong enough to play, the Green Bay Packers running back wasn't going to sit around and do nothing - he was going back to work.

During a time when the public marvels at Adrian Peterson for his rapid recovery while ridiculing Derrick Rose for sitting out too long, there Green was on the first day of training camp last July, taking reps with the rest of the Packers' backfield less than nine months after having surgery for a torn anterior cruciate ligament. ...
