Softball: Wolves win league title, Eagles place second

Algoma shut out Northeastern Wisconsin Lutheran, 15-0, in three innings Tuesday to capture the Packerland Conference high school softball championship.

The Wolves finished the weather-shortened season 7-0, one game ahead of Southern Door which finished 6-1 following a 21-10 win Monday over Oconto.

Also Monday, Sevastopol shut out Northeastern Wisconsin Lutheran, 11-0; and Sturgeon Bay beat Kewaunee, 14-3. ...
