Nature enthusiasts can explore Door County's natural beauty and diversity through over 40 field trips and programs conducted by expert field trip leaders during the Door County Festival of Nature, which takes place May 24 and 25 and is taking registrations for its events.

The 11th annual festival is conducted by The Ridges Sanctuary in cooperation with The Nature Conservancy, Door County Land Trust, Crossroads at Big Creek and Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. Proceeds from the two-day event support The Ridges' programs of education, outreach and research.
