Letter: Government shouldn't degrade faith

Rev. Zimbeck has a Democratic bible claiming it more suitable than Christian or Catholic bibles. Citing Matthew 25:40 when you do the least of these, omitting 25:41 those on the left hand, depart from me - you cursed.

Out of context scripture is not instructive, only political. Jews didn't turn sinners away. Jesus forgave them saying "go, sin no more." Jesus did not accept the sin, only forgave the repentant sinner. The meek, giving freely, shall inherit, not the political Robin Hood Democrats who think they are meek by taking from their defined rich, not themselves. Seven of the 10 richest politicians are Democrats. Hitler determined he decided what religion beliefs were acceptable resulting in over 10 million Jews being killed. Liberal Democrats and liberal justice appointments determined Christian religion is unacceptable, which results in over 50 million and counting babies being killed and tortured.

The sacrament of marriage and family is the target of our liberal leaders like Democrat Congressman Ron Kind who support same sex marriage special interest groups. Republicans are stupid if they won't vote removing those from office who force Christians to accept change through fines, taxes and lawsuits. The Constitution does not permit rewriting the commandments of God dictating Christian values like Hitler did.

Government shouldn't degrade our faith. President Barack Obama said we are no longer a Christian nation so what god does he refer to? We should not accept foreign gods dictated through fear of death by government religions, as more honorable than our free Christian God. Freedom of religion shouldn't subject us to lawsuits suppressing our expression. Bad people and abortions kill innocent lives including children. Our president as a leader and role model promotes killing babies, degrades our Christian marriages, and forces us to pay for sexual immorality with democratic support. This is democratic government religion over freedom of Christian religion.
