Jaworski, Steinberg set track records

Rachel Jaworski of Maine Elementary and Matthew Steinberg of Stettin Elementary set records Tuesday in the 47th annual Kiefer-Swenson Relays, at Wausau East.

Jaworski set the girls all-division 1,600 meter record at 6 minutes, 18.96 seconds, and Steinberg set the boys Division II record in the 60-yard dash 8.1 seconds.

Multiple-event winners included girls Jaworski, Sophia Kohl and Challis Prohaska of Maine, and Emma Dehnel of Riverview, and boys Steinberg and Aiden Smith of Stettin, Donovan Leverette of Marshall, Sam Jung of Riverview, and Hunter Landrath of Maine. ...
