A woman was killed and two others were injured in a duplex fire on Oshkosh's south side Wednesday night.

The victim was identified as Theresa F. Schmitz, 25, of Oshkosh, by police late Thursday afternoon.

Two upstairs residents of the duplex at 1675 Ohio St. escaped through a window, and a third, trapped on the second floor, was rescued by firefighters. The four downstairs residents escaped the building on their own and had no injuries. ...
