It doesn't take much more than a monkey with tongs and spatula to turn out a plate of burgers, brats and hot dogs at a backyard barbecue. Pay no attention to those pile of dishes stacked up or the oppressive heat radiating from the oven because the rest of the meal was prepared in the kitchen.

However there's a bit of a revolution taking place in back yards, one that separates the grill masters from grill monkeys and spare the kitchen all the heavy lifting of years past.

Grillers are turning out everything from toasted Bruschetta to seared scallops to molten chocolate cakes for a complete meal served ...
