A loss prevention officer at Wal-Mart, 2001 N. Central Ave., reported at 4:15 p.m. Wednesday that an unknown white male toke a vehicle CD player without paying for it from the store. Police plan on distributing photos to help in the identification of the man.

A 37-year-old Marshfield woman reported her 16-year-old daughter for causing a disturbance at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday. The girl was taken to the Marshfield Police Department where she was booked. Wood County Human Services determined that the girl should temporarily be placed in foster care. ...
