The Oshkosh Branch of the AAUW (American Association of University Women) will hold its final meeting of the 2012-13 year on Tuesday, May 21, at the Boys and Girls Club in Oshkosh, at 5:45 p.m. Each member will bring a salad to share, as well as a serving spoon and a place setting. After our salad supper, which will begin sharply at 6 p.m., we will have a business meeting to elect and install branch officers for 2013-14.
In addition, Lori Fields, director of the Boys and Girls Club, will tell us about the history of the Boys and Girls Club and the services it provides for our community. She also will give us a quick tour of the B&GC facility, 501 E. Parkway, Oshkosh, on the corner of Broad St. and Parkway. (For this meeting, please enter off Broad Street at the Teen Center Entrance.)
We welcome guests and hope they will become members. Anyone with an Associate (AA), RN or Bachelor's degree or higher is eligible for AAUW membership. The Oshkosh branch, which includes members from throughout Winnebago county, will be celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2014. Please contact us via email (email@example.com) if you have any questions. For more information, see our website, www.oshkoshaauw.org.
