Yenter homers as Rosholt eases past Gresham

ROSHOLT - Alyssa Yenter and Carrissa Wright each collected two hits and Yenter belted a solo homer in the sixth inning as the Rosholt softball team defeated Gresham 11-3 in a WIAA Division 4 regional quarterfinal game on Thursday.

It was the Hornets' lowest hit total of the season, but all that matters is a playoff victory in Rosholt head coach Aaron Dobbe's book.

"We let them hang around, but they played hard," Dobbe said. "In the fifth we got our offense going there. We started to put some good at-bats together. All that matters is it's a win and we are moving on." ...
