May 17, 1963 - Scholarships Inc. to present 16 grants:
Scholarships, Inc., a newly organized Green Bay non-profit corporation, will present 16 scholarships to seniors in Green Bay high schools this year. The scholarships with a total value of $7,550 range from $300 to $750 each.

The decision on the scholarships was made Thursday night when the board of directors met at the WBAY building and approved the report and recommendations of its screening committee.

Samuel Cohen, president of Scholarships, Inc., expressed his appreciation to the people of Green Bay and the leaders of business in this area who have contributed to Scholarships, Inc., in making possible the awards decided upon last night.

He declared that many people in the community have shown great interest in the work of Scholarships, Inc., which is to give some help to the students graduating from high school who intend to go on to college.
