The death of Green Bay resident Daniel Kuehl has been ruled a homicide, authorities said Friday.

Green Bay police aren't saying how they believe Kuehl, 49, was killed, or releasing many other details in the investigation. But police believe the slaying likely occurred within a week of Kuehl's body being found, Detective Capt. Todd Thomas said.

The department announced early Saturday it was investigating what it called a "suspicious" death at Kuehl's residence at 239 N. Ashland Ave. on the city's near west side. ...
