Disaster action team. Assist American Red Cross prevent, prepare for and respond to house fires, storms, tornadoes, floods and other emergencies. Responsibilities range from disaster response to housing and clothing victims. Call Wendy Savage at 877-618-6628 ext. 7482 or wendy.savage@redcross.org.

Food pantry volunteer. Assist clients as they select food from the pantry and complete paperwork. Also accept and sort incoming donations. Volunteers are needed 9 a.m. to noon Monday, 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday and noon to 2 p.m. Friday. Contact Mary Pat Campbell at 715-693-7145 or director@cchope.net.

Driven to do good. United Way RSVP is a 55+ volunteer program that can connect you with your volunteer interests including taking elderly and disabled residents to medical appointment or out shopping while providing extra benefits to you and our community. Home delivered meals. Assist with the packing or delivery of meals for seniors in the Wausau and Kronenwetter areas Monday through Friday. Packing is 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Delivery is 11 a.m. to noon.
