This time of year, it's hard to sit still in school.

Other kids in the neighborhood listen for the jingly sound of the ice cream truck, but who has time for that? It's baseball season, and its time to get ready to play - and that's where "A Baseball Story" by Richard Torrey comes in handy.

Before the game starts, players need to suit up because all they all wear identical hats and jerseys. There are also put on "bumpy shoes called cleats," so players can run like the wind. ...
