Vinyl LPs aren't the only round thing Rock n Roll Land will be spinning this summer.

The Green Bay record store at 504 S. Military Ave. is teaming up with local bicycle group the 99%ers to host a series of bike rides. Rides begin and end at the store, but riders, who started the informal cruises last year, pick a different destination each time.

Everything from cruiser bikes to old Schwinns turned out last year, said Phil Doran, a co-owner of Rock n Roll Land. The idea is to just get people active and out enjoying the weather, at whatever pace they feel comfortable, he said. "The more the merrier.''

This year's rides are as follows:

6 p.m. May 30

1 p.m. June 9

6 p.m. July 18

1 p.m. Aug. 4

6 p.m. Sept. 12

1 p.m. Sept. 22

The final ride of the season on Oct. 5 will include a party from noon to 5 p.m. outside the store.

If wheels that come with a motor are more your style, the store is also hosting Rockin' Rodz n' Motorcycles Show n' Tell in its parking lot from noon to 5 p.m. on four Sundays: June 9, July 7, Aug. 18 and Sept. 22.

Many of the music collectors who visit Rock n Roll Land also have custom cars and bikes, Doran said, but the shows are open to all models of any age. There is no entry fee.
