Kari and Tom Riley's love for children brought them to foster care.

While the couple, who own a dairy farm in the Amherst area, have four children of their own, they had considered having more in the past. Instead, about five years ago, they got involved with foster care through the Portage County Health and Human Services Department. Since then, they have had four foster children as well as a number of children who stay with them on a short-term basis.
