Elmer F. Blonien Post 485, the American Legion, Rudolph, held its regular meeting May 9 with 39 members present. The post is sending two boys to Badger Boys State in June. They are Colton Nieman and Alex Ashbeck.

Three members attended a program at Mead Elementary Charter School. The post supplied a color guard at Hotel Mead for a convention of the Retired Federal Government Employees.

The gun raffle is moving along, and poster and tickets will be available soon. It will be Aug. 25 in the Rudolph Park.

The summer parade schedule was reviewed, and the post will march in five parades.

Guest speaker was Larry Trelka of United Special Sportsmen Alliance, or USSA, which sponsors turkey hunts for disabled children, adults and veterans.

Post Memorial Day ceremonies will be at 10:10 a.m. May 26 at St. Philip Church Cemetery in Rudolph. The Assumption High School band will perform as well as local scouts.

The next meeting will be June 13 at the hall in Rudolph.
