Green Bay Preble High School senior Samuel Smukowski is determined, motivated and serious, while being very well rounded and grounded young man. Sam's grade point average of 3.94 is stellar while completing the most rigorous courses possible at Preble. Sam earned his Eagle Scout award for completing a project with the Habitat ReStore, starting a metal recycling project, logging over 250 hours. School activities include: varsity swim team, National Honor Society, math team, and school and pep band. Sam has competed in both math and band contests, earning highest awards possible. He earned the President's Service Award Bronze Medal 2011, 2012 and 2013 for his volunteer hours. Sam plans to attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison and pursue an undergraduate degree in biochemistry, and graduate and doctorate degrees in pharmacology.
