Police: Beef-stick heist leads to heroin bust

A Wausau woman accused of trying to steal beef sticks, flowers and other merchandise from a Wausau grocery store found herself in more serious trouble when thousands of dollars of heroin fell out of her bra during her arrest, police said.

Amy L. Lo, 35, appeared Monday in Marathon County Court on charges of possession of heroin with intent to deliver, possession of cocaine and retail theft. Judge Mike Moran ordered Lo held in the Marathon County Jail on a $15,000 bond with the first $5,000 in cash.
