Appleton East, Neenah, Wrightstown win boys' golf regionals

Appleton East topped second-place Shawano by 15 strokes to win the WIAA Division 1 boys' golf Waupaca regional at Foxfire Golf Club in Waupaca on Tuesday.

The Patriots' Erik Thulien (75) and Alan Lemons (76) finished second and third behind medalist Braden Mueller of Shawano, who shot a 74.

Waupaca defeated New London in a two-hole playoff to break the tie for the fourth and final team advancing to sectionals. ...
