The Van Dyne Lions Club is holding their 34th annual Walleye Tournament on Saturday, June 1. For more information on the Walleye Fishing Tournament including rules, application forms, and deadline for entering contact Tom Wendt at 922-8841.

The walleye tournaments have been one of the major fundraising activities of the Van Dyne Lions Club and have enabled them to develop a 12-acre community park at Van Dyne, along with many other worthwhile Lions projects.

A kickball tournament will be held in conjunction with the Walleye Tournament. This coed kickball requires five guys and five gals on a team, with a $50 entry fee. Kickball will start at 9 a.m. Prizes for the tournament will be handed out later in the afternoon at Van Dyne Lions Park.

Kickball rules, entry form and deadline information can be obtained by contacting Walt Schmid at 688-2496; or e-mail wschmidexc@yahoo.com

Food and refreshments available all day long.
