The Green Bay area chapter of the America Red Cross says it is ready to offer assistance in the aftermath of a massive tornado that tore through Moore, Okla., Monday afternoon.

While it's too early to tell what help, if any any, may be needed from the American Red Cross of Northeast Wisconsin, the organization and volunteers say they are ready to pitch in.

"It's too early to tell, but what we do locally is put our people on stand-by," Jody Weyers, volunteer and communications director with the chapter said Tuesday morning. "Our volunteers can mark themselves available and when the needs come down ...
