The Grant Committee at St. Thomas More has approved a $2,000 grant for St. Joseph Food Program's Back Pack Food Assistance program. The program supports the needs of area school back pack programs. Supplemental food is provided for students who have been identified by school counselors or administration as not having adequate nutrition over the weekend. Several area schools have back pack food assistance programs. St. Joe's donates food items to these programs free of charge.

"St. Joseph's Food Pantry has supported the program through donating several of the food products that we include in the snack packs. This generosity has contributed to the development of the program into additional Neenah schools, with the potential for further expansion. St. Joe's is making a tremendous difference to the program, and most importantly to the children." said Karen Born, VP Snack Pack Program-Neenah To donate to St. Joseph Food Program, visit the website at www.stjoesfoodprogram.org
