Vikings VP: We want to beat Packers in new stadium opener

The Minnesota Vikings are looking forward to opening their new $975 million stadium by hosting - and defeating - the Green Bay Packers.

Lester Bagley, the Vikings' vice president of public affairs and stadium development, said so in an interview with Dave Schwartz of KARE-TV in Minneapolis on Sunday.

"Our very first regular-season game will likely be against the Green Bay Packers, and so it'll be good to see Adrian Peterson break loose and score the first touchdown in the new stadium and run over Clay Matthews on his way to the end zone," Bagley said. ...
