Greater Wausau: City's student artists in the spotlight

East and West high schools hold art exhibitions

Art created on both sides of the river will take center stageWednesday when Wausau East and West high schools offer exhibitions of student work.

Wausau West High School artists will present "3P - Painting Pottery Pencils" from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. The exhibition will include work of students, alumni and guest artists, including glass artists from the University of Wisconsin Marathon County demonstrating their creative process.

The Cultural Arts Festival at East, or CAFE, will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and also will include students' best work from the school. CAFE also features ethnic food, ...
