City to hold public hearing on driveway-paving rule

Plan Commission also recommends five-year reprieve

The city of Wausau will hold a public hearing allowing residents to air their grievances about a 2008 ordinance that requires all gravel driveways to be paved by fall of next year.

The city Plan Commission also recommended Tuesday that the city delay the rule for five years after elected officials got an earful from residents upset about the requirement.
