College baseball: Former UWSP players join coaching staff

Scott Williams embarked on a professional baseball career after his playing days at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point ended in 2011.

He signed as an undrafted free agent with the Washington Nationals, and toiled in rookie ball in Florida throughout the rest of the summer, but failed to make a good enough impression to have the organization resign him.
