Legacy stones to be dedicated in ceremony

Congressman Ron Kind will be the speaker at a legacy stone dedication ceremony at 11 a.m. Friday in front of the Wood County Courthouse, 444 Market St. Kind has represented people in the Third Congressional District since 1996. The district includes all of Wisconsin Rapids and part of Wood County since redistricting a couple of years ago.

Kind has degrees from Harvard University, the London School of Economics and a law degree from the University of Minnesota. He lives in La Crosse with his wife and two sons.
