D3 track: Gibraltar's regional relays resplendent

Gibraltar coach Casey St. Henry insisted his planning for Monday's Division 3 regional high school track and field meet in Hilbert was all about getting as many kids through to sectionals as possible. And the best way to do that was to qualify lots of relays.

The Vikings did just that in pushing through an impressive seven of a possible eight relays to Thursday's sectional meet in Princeton. All four girls relays qualified along with three from the boys side.

In addition to the relays, a total of nine Door County athletes advanced in 10 individual events. ...
