Steel Bridges partners with music schools

Young songwriters invited to be part of weeklong 'Construction Zone' sessions

Steel Bridge Songfest, the annual June festival celebrating songwriting and the Michigan Street Bridge in Sturgoen Bay, has established a history of community outreach, historic preservation awareness and fostering an original music scene both locally and beyond.

Along with those, Steel Bridge has started what's now a tradition of mentorship, welcoming young songwriters from all over the country to come to Door County and collaborate with lifelong veterans of the written and sung word during the festival's "Construction Zone" songwriting and recording sessions.
