A local school software company will have to wait until next week to see whether state lawmakers will give it a chance to keep its business in Wisconsin.

A motion to create a a multivendor statewide student information system was supposed to go before the state Legislature's Joint Finance Committee on Tuesday, but the issue was pushed back.

Rep. Scott Krug, R-Rome, of the 72nd Assembly District, said the motion was held to revise the final language, as well as ensure it has support to pass. ...
