DoIt! campaign raises $1,000 in less than 3 weeks

Efforts to raise money for a program that provides home care for local seniors has netted $1,060 since it began earlier this month.

Press-Gazette Media's Serving Seniors DoIt! campaign aims to raise $25,000 through reader donations to support Clarity Care's Help at Home program, which provides supportive care to low-income seniors in their own homes at a rate as low as $3 per hour. Clients receive assistance with tasks such as grocery shopping and meal preparation, laundry, bathing and dressing, medication management, and errand running.
