If retailers can promote Christmas in July, why can't we talk about year-end holiday wishes in May? Well, when it comes to health care, I believe it's better to do this earlier rather than later. There's too much at stake to stand by idly.

Right now, there's so much confusion about overall health care reform, insurance exchanges and Medicaid. In the past several weeks, I've fielded literally dozens of questions from employees and business leaders alike on these complex and interconnected issues. So here is my wish list for 2014 and why:
