Brad Rohloff feels like he did in 1985.

The 49-year-old modified driver from Pulaski, who had struggled with chronic back pain for most of his adult life, had a surgery two years ago in which an artificial disc was installed in his back.

"I feel like a million bucks now," said Rohloff, the 2000 state IMCA modified champion who is considered by many to be one of the deans of the local modified racing scene. "I was in so much pain I sold my race car two years ago. Now, I feel better than I had in years." ...
