It's Your Call

OFFER SUPPORT: May is Mental Health Awareness month. Those of us with mental illness are aware every month, every day, every minute. If you know someone with mental illness, love them. Buy them groceries, a new set of clothes or treat them to dinner. Not just once, but often. We get no relief, such as vacation. Most think we're rich and lazy because we get a government disability check and we have time on our hands. There's nothing to be jealous of, unless you think a nightmare is fun, all day, every day for life. Show us you care. Often, that's all that keeps us going. Never, ever give up, and tell us not to, either.

Peter McKenzie,

Appleton
