The USS Cobia, a World War II submarine moored outside of the Wisconsin Maritime Museum, has special meaning to three generations of the Kaiser family.

Cmdr. Herbert Kaiser, 85, of Wauwatosa, was the last commanding officer of submarine more than 40 years ago,when the vessel was a U.S. Navy Reserve training boat docked in Milwaukee.
